Temporary Print Designer

Job Location: Camden, London
Salary: £21,000 per annum

Interview date: Tuesday 27 August 2013
Diabetes is the fastest growing health threat in the UK. Diabetes UK is the leading UK charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of people affected by, and at risk of, diabetes.
We are looking for a talented print designer to join our busy in-house creative team.
This year has seen a major increase in activity for Diabetes UK as we strengthen our profile and increase our influence across all audiences. As well as reviewing our brand and revamping our printed and digital outputs, we have launched hard-hitting campaigns to influence policy change where it is needed most. Everything we do aims to improve the lives of people with or at risk of diabetes, and to stem the rising tide of the condition.
Reporting to the Design and Production Manager, the Temporary Print Designer will be an excellent all-rounder working directly with colleagues across the charity. The successful candidate will have brilliant design and creative skills, and will be highly organised and adept at multi-tasking with proven experience of successfully taking projects through from concept to delivery.
You will also have excellent communication skills and a flair for turning briefs into engaging and impactful end products. This role is suited to a team player with a can-do attitude who thrives in a busy, demanding and rewarding environment.
