Position statements

Diabetes UK is campaigning to raise awareness of the complications of diabetes, including foot problems and amputations; to improve foot care services for people with diabetes, and to raise awareness of the services people should receive.

This position statement summarises Diabetes UK’s concerns about foot care services for people with diabetes and the scale of the problem. It also sets out what we are calling for in order to reduce the number of amputations and improve the quality of life for people with foot problems caused by diabetes.
