Strategic plan 2008 (summary)
Background
For nearly 75 years Diabetes UK has been committed to providing easily accessible information, influencing the NHS for better diabetes care and funding research.
Diabetes UK will focus in 2008 on:
- Care from children and young people to adults
- Increasing awareness of diabetes and its complications
- Fighting discrimination and providing advocacy
- Promoting equality and striving towards ensuring that our work meets the needs of diverse communities living in the UK.
