APC 2009 in retrospective

Diabetes UK Annual Professional Conference 2009 'The changing face of diabetes' was held mid-March in Glasgow. 

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this year a great success.

• 2764 delegate and exhibitors attended (increase of 10% from 2008)
• 74 sessions
• 548 abstracts accepted (increase of 10% from 2008)
• 68 exhibitors
• 350 attendees at the gala dinner (just under 50% increase from 2008)

APC 2009 was informally named during the conference itself  “the best APC in many years – both in content and organisation".
