Diabetes UK is very pleased to be taking the Annual Professional Conference 2010 for the first time to the ACC (Arena and Convention Centre) in Liverpool.

Diabetes UK will be taking over the ACC Liverpool, which comprises the Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre, during the Annual Professional Conference. The exhibition, poster, cyber cafe and speaker relay area will span across both the Echo Arena and lower floor of the Convention Centre. The main auditorium seats 1,350 delegates for our popular named lectures and plenary sessions. The auditorium also has two revolving pods transforming the space into three seperate auditoria. Other sessions will be spread across 18 breakout rooms seating 30-500 delegates all conveniently found on one floor. Wi-Fi is available throughout.

The ACC Liverpool opened in January 2008 in time for Liverpool's celebrations as the European Capital of Culture. It forms a part of the larger regeneration scheme of the famous grade I listed Albert Dock and historic world heritage waterfront area. The ACC Liverpool's neighbours include Tate Liverpool, The Beatles Story museum, numerous bars and restaurants and 1,300 hotel bedrooms all within a 10 minute walk.
