Whether you’re newly diagnosed, need a refresher or you’re a parent or carer, book now for our national event, which is open to all.

• Chose from 16 workshops covering Type 1 and Type 2 issues, such as pumps and gadgets, diabetes at school and coping with emotional issues (a full programme will be available shortly)
• Hear about the latest diabetes research for Type 1 and Type 2
• Connect with others and share experiences
• An exhibition showcasing new information and products to help you better manage your diabetes
• Supervised activities for children and teenagers (5–16) and free on-site crèche for those under 5
• Lunch and refreshments included

If you are not currently a member, join Diabetes UK now to receive a membership discount on ticket prices.

Booking

The booking site for the Big Event will open at the end of June.

Crèche and children’s activities

The children’s sessions are run by experienced volunteers. A medical team including doctor, nurses and dietitians will supervise children at all times.

Travel information

The Novotel London West is located adjacent to Hammersmith underground station, which is on the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Piccadilly lines. It is also within easy reach of the A4 and outside of the congestion zone. For a useful map, please click here.
