Diabetes UK is calling on people to join its exciting London to Paris cycle challenge in 2013.

A group of Diabetes UK supporters will be cycling approximately 200 miles over three days from England’s buzzing capital to the heart of Paris. Day one of the challenge will take us from London through beautiful rural English countryside and pretty villages, ending in Folkestone by late afternoon. We will then take the Eurotunnel to France where we will transfer to our accommodation in Dieppe.

After breakfast we will then begin a full day's cycling through the Seine Valley. We will travel through picturesque villages, passing castles, monasteries and other points of interest. After 75 miles of cycling we will reach our hotel in Vernon by the early evening, where we will relax with a nice meal.

Our final day's cycling will begin at around 8.30am when we will continue through the Seine Valley and beautiful French countryside. After the final 55 miles we will arrive in Paris by approximately 5pm where a glass of champagne awaits. We will then have a celebratory meal and spend some time in one of the most amazing cities in the world. After a few hours exploring Paris on the Monday morning, you will return by Eurostar, arriving in London around lunchtime.

This challenge really will be the experience of a lifetime. We would love you to join our exclusive Diabetes UK team on this fantastic trip.
