Have your cake and eat it...
...with Tea for Diabetes
This is the sixth year of Tea for Diabetes (T4D) – one big all-year-round tea party.
T4D really couldn't be a more simple or economical way to enjoy yourself, while increasing awareness and raising funds for people with diabetes.
To get started, all you need to do is request a free T4D fundraising pack by emailing:
events.fundraising@diabetes.org.uk or calling 020 7424 1000
As well as lots of advice on holding a successful T4D party, the pack includes information on diabetes, posters, invites and examples of healthy cakes and biscuits to bake for your friends.

We currently have a whole range of wonderful prizes, from cookery books to cooking utensils. To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is raise over £150 and you will be entered into the T4D raffle.
But remember, every little counts. A small donation from each of your friends may not seem a lot, but it will help towards raising thousands of pounds for people with diabetes.
It's as easy as one... two... tea!
It is your T4D party and you can make it into whatever type of party you like - from a group of friends getting together to a huge themed extravaganza. It is entirely up to you.
Here are a few tips to help you get started:
1. Choose your venue
Do you want to hold it at home, in the workplace, a community centre, school or village hall? Try to think about how many guests you are likely to have and what kind of venue you will need to host the party in.
2. Invite your guests
Let everyone know! T4D has raised over £100,000 and the more guests, the more donations – so get the word out. You can use the T4D invites and posters enclosed with your free organiser's pack.
3. Put the kettle on
Make sure you have plenty of tea or whatever drink you prefer. You can raise extra funds by selling homemade cakes and biscuits (check out the recipes online and in the free organiser's pack).
