Terms & conditions of entry:

By filling out this registration form for the 2013 Loch Ness Marathon, you are guaranteeing to raise a minimum of £400.

Applicants will be required to pay an entry fee of £40 to secure their place. Upon submitting this online form, applicants should send a cheque or postal order made out to "Diabetes UK Scotland" to: The Fundraising Team, Diabetes UK Scotland, The Venlaw, 349 Bath Street, Glasgow G2 4AA indicating their full name and address. Alternatively, applicants can call the Fundraising Team on 0141 245 6380 during working hours to pay by credit or debit card. Entry fees should be paid no later than five working days after submitting the online form in order to secure a place.

If you are not using an online donation page (such as Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving), you must send your minimum sponsorship amount to Diabetes UK Scotland by 30th November 2013.

You must be at least 18 years old on the date of the event to take part.

If, for any reason, you are unable to take part in the event, you should contact Diabetes UK Scotland to inform them of this no later than Friday, September 6th, 2013 to avoid cost to the charity. If you do not contact the charity prior to this date, and do not take part in the event without a reasonable explanation, you will be expected to reimburse the fee paid by Diabetes UK Scotland to purchase your place.

 You confirm that to the best of your knowledge, your general state of health and fitness is good and you take full responsibility for your ability to take part. If you have not exercised for some time, you should consult your doctor for a check up and abide by any advice given. We advise that you train for the event and prepare for your challenge.
