Walk for Diabetes 2013 – Scotland

Walks at Loch Katrine and in Fife, Inverness, Hamilton and Linlithgow

Help yourself stay healthy and raise vital funds for Diabetes UK by getting involved in these events. Everyone who takes part will receive a medal at the end of the walk.

Loch Katrine

Saturday 14 September 2013

12 mile walk

Walkers meet at 9.30am at Loch Katrine and and sail up to Stronachlachar on the 10.30am sailing on the steamship Sir Walter Scott. Arrival at Stronachlachar will be at 11.15am, before walking the 12 miles back to Trossachs Pier.

 

Participants are required to pay for the boat crossing (£11.70). Parking for the day at the Trossachs Pier is £5.

  • Suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs
  • Dogs on leads allowed

A great day out for the whole family.  Each family is asked to raise £50 in sponsorship.
