London 2 Cambridge
Friday 10 – Saturday 11 May 2013
Experience this renowned trail in the magnificence of a moonlit night, decorated by your fellow high-visibility, fluoro riders. Take to the roads with the matchless sensation of night riding, either independently or with a team of friends.
Beginning amid the capital’s landmarks, the 100km London 2 Cambridge route picks out some of the best cycle paths and routes heading out from North London, through the Hertfordshire countryside as you start your ascent through rural towns and villages. You'll arrive in Cambridgeshire just as the sun starts to rise for an early morning cycle tour of Cambridge city centre, before crossing the finish line in time for hearty breakfast celebrations.
Be part of the challenge which will see 2,000 riders attempt the 100km route and fundraise for Diabetes UK.
London 2 Brighton
Friday 12 – Saturday 13 July 2013
Join the Diabetes UK Team on one of the UK's most iconic cycle routes.
The 100km cycle begins amid the capital’s landmarks before heading into the rural countryside of Surrey and Sussex, before climbing one of the highest points across the South Downs – Ditchling Beacon – at dawn. There won’t be many rides that are more welcoming at their finish line, as the sun comes up to cast its warmth on Brighton city.
Halloween Moonride
Friday 25 – Saturday 26 October 2013
Get spooked out at the special Halloween twilight Moonride.
With a rich history steeped in centuries of ghastly tales and spooky stories, London is one of the world's creepiest cities where history still haunts dark alleyways, ancient towers and neglected graveyards.
As the moon casts shadows across eerily dark streets over Halloween 2013, join hundreds of other riders on our creepy cycle of the city. Gasp as you discover the city in a new light, pedal your way between our frightening pit-stops and enjoy a Halloween celebration with hundreds of other riders.
Setting out from the starting line in North London, the 100km route takes you on a looped tour of some of London's most haunted and spooky sites. You can refuel on pumpkin punch and devilish delights, with a lavish hot meal stop at 50km where you can also indulge in some classic Halloween-themed games to win some prizes for the ride.
You can expect a ride full of surprises, ghoulish characters and a great party atmosphere.
