TV presenter and broadcaster Eamonn Holmes supports Diabetes UK as his mother has Type 2 diabetes.

Eamonn was a contestant on ITV1's Feelgood Factor where he aimed to lose weight to raise money for Diabetes UK. Eamonn also supports our Get Serious campaign showing that he is very keen to make people aware of diabetes.

My mother has Type 2 diabetes, so I've seen the implications of it first-hand. I learnt a lot about diabetes on the Feelgood Factor and support the work of Diabetes UK.

Eamonn was also the face of our Winter 2010 appeal which raised in excess of £550,000.
