Bupa’s Great Run series 2012-2015
Bupa has chosen Diabetes UK as its nominated charity for the Bupa Great Run Series in 2012.

Tesco Diets ‘lbs for £s’
September 2011 saw the launch of a new partnership between Tesco Diets and Diabetes UK via the supermarket’s ‘lbs for £s’ initiative that aims to raise £100,000 for the charity.
The celebrity-backed fundraising scheme aims to help motivate dieters to lose weight whilst supporting one of the biggest health challenges in the country, the rising number of people diagnosed with diabetes. A unique initiative from Tesco Diets, ‘lbs for £s’ promises to turn every pound in weight lost into £1, which will then be donated to Diabetes UK and the Diabetes Federation of Ireland.

Pfizer's Man MOT
Diabetes UK is pleased to be working with long term partner, Pfizer, on a variety of sponsorship and awareness activities.
Pfizer’s Man MOT was launched in 2010 in partnership with leading UK health organisations, including Diabetes UK, to help men who are currently bypassing the healthcare system through fear or embarrassment of visiting their GP. The online surgery offers confidential, professional advice on a broad range of health issues from qualified GPs and other occasional guest experts including a Diabetes UK Careline counsellor and a clinical advisor.
Pfizer and the Healthy Lifestyle Roadshows
Pfizer has also sponsored our Healthy Lifestyle Roadshows in Scotland, involving local smoking cessation services to provide visitors with information and advice on how to quit smoking.
Morphy Richards recipe competition
Diabetes UK is pleased to be working with innovative home appliance manufacturer, Morphy Richards, through a range of sponsorship activities in our member’s magazine, Balance.
The company is helping to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy, balanced diet through sponsorship of a celebrity-endorsed recipe competition and the popular ‘Fun and Games’ page in Balance. This includes offering a selection of fantastic prizes from their healthy kitchen appliance range, helping our members to create delicious healthy meals at home.
