Morrisons case study

Morrisons present cheque to Douglas SmallwoodIn 2004, the supermarket chain Morrisons raised a staggering £750,000 for Diabetes UK from selling key rings and carrier bags, to leg waxing and running in the Great North Run.

"This record-breaking effort is a fantastic reflection of our team's fundraising efforts and the generosity of millions of Morrisons' shoppers," said Bob Stott, Joint Managing Director of Morrisons.

The money raised by Morrisons went to fund vital research into the condition and to support people with diabetes and their families.
