Diabetes Week is our chance to tell the world about Diabetes UK and raise vital funds so we can continue to support those whose lives are affected by all types of diabetes.
This year, we’re focusing on our pioneering diabetes research and are inviting you, your colleagues and your patients to become part of our research story – and help us to write the next chapter.
Becoming part of the story couldn’t be easier. Below you’ll find a series of posters. All we ask is that you order or download these and put them up in your workplace – whether it be your clinic, your ward, your surgery or your pharmacy – in the run up to and during Diabetes Week. By displaying posters and highlighting the week to your patients you’ll be playing an important part in Diabetes Week 2013.

Diabetes is something very close to my heart, not only as many of my patients have the condition, but because my son has Type 1 diabetes.
"As a healthcare professional, like you, I have seen the devastating effects the condition can have on people and their families. That’s why it’s very important to me as a GP, and a father, to continue spreading the message about diabetes.
"Your support in promoting Diabetes Week to your patients will go a long way to making the week a success. It’s thanks to Diabetes UK and its vital research work that parents like me have hope that we are getting closer to a future without diabetes.
