Feel Good with ASDA

Feel Good with ASDA

Diabetes UK was delighted to support two Asda health awareness days on the 10th and 13th June in order to raise awareness of the risk factors of diabetes among Asda colleagues. The June edition of Asda magazine and the Feel Good with Asda website both carry vital information about the condition, its symptoms, risk factors and how to stay healthy. ASDA Pharmacies are displaying Diabetes UK's awareness posters throughout June and continue to play a vital role in encouraging customers at risk to get tested in-store.

Sanofi aventis

Sanofi-aventis

The head office and the six regional manufacturing and research centres at sanofi-aventis are also taking part in Diabetes Week with diabetes awareness raising activities to all their staff with Measure Up materials, including posters, balloons and collecting tins for their foyers and canteens. The newly produced Diabetes UK promotional DVD 'Me and You' will be played on loop in the head office reception with collecting tins on display all week. Diabetes Week was promoted at the sanofi-aventis staff conference where employees were encouraged to get involved with the company's efforts.
