Diabetes Week
14 to 20 June 2009

Act early. Improve lives
Diabetes Week is the annual focal point of our fundraising, awareness and campaigning activities. By getting involved in the week’s activities, you have helped make people realise that diabetes is a serious condition, and that by acting early, lives can be improved for everyone affected by diabetes – including people with diabetes as well as their friends, family and carers. This has never been more important than in this, our 75th anniversary year.
Diabetes Week 2009 focused on how far Diabetes UK has come in 75 years, in working towards better diabetes care, prevention and treatment – all with the aim of improving lives.
Thank you
We'd like to thank all the volunteers, fundraisers, members, healthcare professionals and all other supporters who help the charity achieve its goal of improving the lives of people affected by diabetes.
