Funeral collections
It is increasingly common for people who are organising a funeral for a loved one to decide to ask for a donation to charity instead of floral tributes, as a way of honouring the deceased.
At Diabetes UK, we have developed a way of making this an easier process for the bereaved at what is a very difficult time.
Our funeral collection envelopes are tastefully designed, and can be personalised with the name of the person being honoured. The envelopes also help friends and family to make contributions, as they can take them home following the funeral and send them to Diabetes UK at their own convenience. They also allow us to claim Gift Aid where applicable, making donations worth 28 per cent more.
