Lottery rules

Applications must be from players 16 years and over.

The main points covered by the Rules are:

 

  1. The promoter will conduct the draw every Wednesday.The draw will be conducted by random number generator.
  2. The winning numbers will be published on the Diabetes UK website and will be available from the Diabetes UK Weekly Lottery Helpline from the following day. Please telephone 01628 822 271.
  3. The cost of each entry is £1. Players may purchase more than one entry and payment must be made in advance. 
  4.  All profits from the Lottery go to Diabetes UK Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Diabetes UK.
  5. The promoter may reject any application without giving reason at its absolute discretion. No detail in the application may be changed in any way once it has been submitted , except for a chan ge of address.
  6. Prizes for the Diabetes UK Weekly Lottery are printed in this leaflet and on the Diabetes UK website.There are no alternatives to any prize and no interest is payable. Prizes will be sent by cheque within 14 days.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to use winnersÕ names for promotional purposes. These will only be in summary, e.g. Mrs Jones from Berkshire.
  8. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in bank payments.
  9. No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication sent by post.
  10. The Promoter may (without giving any reason or notice) decline to accept an application, cancel an existing subscription, or terminate or suspend the lottery scheme.
  11. The promoter's decisions made pursuant to the Rules shall, once made, be final and binding. Diabetes UK Services Ltd on behalf of Diabetes UK.
