Diabetes UK has a number of blogs from people with diabetes, people affected by the condition and people who are involved with our work.
We also have blogs in our Supporting Members' area.
Andy's blog
'Type 2 diabetes - you've got to be kidding?'
Andy was diagnosed with Type 2 in May 2009 and describes himself as "a professional diabetes sufferer".
"My blog is an account of my life since being diagnosed, dealing with food, booze, relationships, work, friends, denial, anger and finally acceptance.
"Although I have absolutely no medical knowledge this blog is also about my struggle to control my life and my diabetes."

Josh's blog
Travels with Type 1 diabetes
We launched our first blog in September 2008 and it's still going strong. Josh, who's 21 and has Type 1 diabetes, has been blogging for us while on his travels.
Kicking off the trip with a train journey across Eastern Europe last summer, Josh has since travelled on the Trans Siberian Express across Russia, Mongolia and China; taught English in a school in northern Thailand; and explored Laos, the Cameron Highlands of Central Malaysia and the jungles of Borneo. He recently left Burma (Myanmar) for a short break at home before taking on South America - starting with Mexico.
In his blog he describes how he manages his condition in ever-changing environments, temperatures and climates.

Young bloggers with diabetes
The Myspace and Bebo social networks are most popular with young people. Diabetes UK has a group on each site aimed at young people living with diabetes, tying in with our 'My life' websites, and four young people blogging regularly about their lives.
Take a look at our latest blogs, videos and comments on Myspace and Bebo.
'Get involved' blog
Our 'Get involved blog' gives you an insider's view of our activities, events and campaigns, from the point of view of all the people who make them so successful.
It kicked off with entries detailing the build-up to our annual Diabetes Week, and entries during the week itself.

APC behind-the-scenes blog
Deborah Christie, on the organising committee of our Annual Professional Conference (APC), enthusiastically volunteered to launch this blog as a way to uncover what is going on behind the scenes of this key conference for those working in the field of diabetes. The event attracts up to 3,000 healthcare professionals each year.
Each month, Deborah gives an insider's view of organising the conference such as building sessions and selecting abstracts.
