Dual Champions

Champions modelling the Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation T-shirtsFollowing the success of Diabetes UK's Community Champion Programme, a new Dual Champions programme in partnership with the British Heart Foundation is being piloted. 

A small number of Champions will receive training from the British Heart Foundation and then volunteer for both charities.

The pilot programme will run in the London boroughs of Brent, Camden, Ealing, Harrow, Haringey, Newham and Southwark, targeting specific communities within each.

The scheme was launched on Friday 2 March 2012.
