Volunteering

Volunteering

Are you passionate about making sure that more people know about diabetes?

If so, then why not get involved and help us to raise awareness of diabetes and the work of Diabetes UK?

There are many ways you can help from running a stall at an event, or visiting local groups in your area to talk about diabetes and the work of Diabetes UK.

Awareness campaigns

You might like to support one of our current campaigns.

Events volunteers

Are you energetic and enthusiastic? Are you looking for a flexible and fun way to volunteer? If so, then helping out at Diabetes UK events might be for you. We need help at events all over the country, so if you have some time to spare, this could be the role for you.

Speaker scheme

Our speaker scheme volunteers are a network of volunteer speakers trained and supported by Diabetes UK. Their role is to raise awareness about diabetes and the work of Diabetes UK to groups in their local area. If you are looking for a flexible way to volunteer and would like to develop your own skills and knowledge about diabetes, then the speaker scheme might be for you.
