Promotional materials
The Charities Act states that any promotional materials that can be construed as a fundraising or potentially fundraising tool must carry the phrase:
"Diabetes UK is a Registered Charity"
or
"Diabetes UK. Registered Charity No. 215199"
- To avoid confusion or conflict, and as good practice, one of these statements should be included on all materials produced. These may particularly include posters, flyers, branch diaries and chequebooks, but this list is by no means exhaustive.
- If you are not acting directly on behalf of a voluntary group, you must contact the Diabetes UK Central or Regional Office for permission to use the Diabetes UK name and number on promotional materials.
