Your event should be attractive, in that people will be prepared to pay to attend or be motivated to be sponsored.
Ensure your event does not clash with any other activity taking place on the same day in the same area.
Timing
It is often helpful to draw up a timetable of what needs to be done by when and try and stick to it. For example, your printing should be ready 4–6 weeks before the event as this is the ideal time to start your promotion. It also keeps the other team members informed and in touch with the event.
