Support the work of the UK’s leading diabetes charity
What is adopt a project?
Adopt a project is an exciting way to provide urgently needed funds for diabetes research, care and support and a range of communication tools (information leaflets and website). By adopting a new or existing project you will become a real stakeholder in the work of Diabetes UK. Groups, clubs, associations, educational establishments and individuals are all able to adopt a project. In fact, anyone can adopt a project.
How long does an adoption last and how much can you give?
Projects can be adopted for one year with a minimum donation of £1,000. If you are unable to send £1,000 you can either join with another group to adopt a project or send your donation in monthly instalments.
How do I adopt a project?
Simply call or email the national or regional office in your area and they will be able to tell you which projects are currently available for adoption. The national and regional offices will do their utmost to match your adoption with a project that you are keen to support. Once you have decided on the project you wish to adopt send your cheque, made payable to Diabetes UK, to the Diabetes UK national or regional office in your area and they will do the rest.
