It is estimated that the UK throws away 2 million tons of electrical waste every year – most of which ends up in landfill where it can harm our environment. The category known as ‘e-waste’ is one of the fastest growing of its kind in Europe, but the majority of equipment that is thrown away can be recycled or re-used.
Diabetes UK now offers a free collection service for the unused gadgets listed below. For every gadget received, we will receive a monetary payment from our recycle partner ShP for Charity, a leading electronic waste recycling organisation.
