Welcome to week 15 of your training plan
The key to successful training is to build gradually. Everyone progresses at a different rate and your body takes time to adapt to the new demands that you make on it.
Hence, it is important not to allow your enthusiasm to override the components of a correctly structured training plan and to always allow sufficient rest and recovery between sessions.
We will send your final training plan next week. If you do not receive your email please contact us.
Why not ask friends round and hold a pre-race pasta party to help raise more funds? You can have quizzes, games and competitions.
Remind friends about the cheer bus and the cheering point. For more information contact us on 01325 488606..
Diabetes facts and stats
Throughout the weeks we will provide you with some statistics and information about diabetes to help your fundraising message have a greater impact
This week: 1000 people with diabetes start kidney dialysis every year in the UK.
On the sponsorship forms and on the online donations, your supporters will be asked if they would like to Gift Aid their donation. Please ensure that as many people as possible tick the Gift Aid box plus give their full name and address (postcodes are essential) as it allows us to claim an extra 25p for every pound raised. It doesn’t cost your supporters any extra to Gift Aid their donation.
