Have you ever dreamed of swimming across the English Channel? Swim22, Diabetes UK’s Channel Swim Pool Challenge allows you to do just that but in the convenience of your local swimming pool.
You have from 22 April to 22 July 2013 to complete 22 miles so whether you want to set yourself a big challenge and complete it within one week (or even one day!) or take the full three months, Swim22 is sure to be a fun way to increase your fitness and raise funds for Diabetes UK.
You can swim on your own or as part of a team, perhaps with your work place or school. However you choose to do it this is a fantastic challenge and we’d love for you to join the Swim22 team.
Don't forget to visit the Goggle Gallery and send us photos of you getting your goggles on for Diabetes UK.

I am delighted to support Swim22, Diabetes UK’s Channel Swim Pool Challenge. This is a fantastic fundraising event which will appeal to all ages and abilities. Swimming is one of the best ways to keep fit and healthy and I encourage you all to get your goggles on and dive in. It doesn’t matter if it takes 3 months,3 weeks or 3 days to complete the challenge - it really is the taking part that counts. Good luck everyone!!
