Volunteering 2009 Conference
| Date: |
10 - 11 October 2009 |
| Location: |
Manchester |
| Venue: |
Ramada Manchester Piccadilly |
** Registration for this event has been extended until Friday 25 September 2009 for those requiring Saturday night accommodation and Friday 2 October 2009 for day delegates (originally Friday 11 September).**
The conference is a chance for Diabetes UK to thank all its volunteers - including individual volunteers, Diabetes Campaign Network members, people who sit on user involvement bodies, fundraisers, and voluntary groups as well as potential volunteers who might be interested in discovering more about volunteering for Diabetes UK.
This year’s achievements will be celebrated and remembered in this special event - delegates will not only have the opportunity to hear from top-name speakers, but also from other inspirational volunteers who have a story to tell. This two day conference has become a highlight of Diabetes UK’s year where delegates can get together to find out more about the latest developments at Diabetes UK.
We are pleased to be holding this year's Volunteering conference at the newly transformed Ramada Manchester Piccadilly hotel. All events over the two days and accommodation for delegates will be at the Ramada - more venue details can be found here
