Fasting and diabetes

If you are planning on fasting and have diabetes, this section aims to provide you with useful guidance. It is important that you speak to your diabetes healthcare team beforehand. They will advise you on how to keep good diabetes control throughout the fasting period.

For young people

There is also information about fasting and Ramadan on our sites for children, teenagers and young adults.
