Bookmarking and saving pages

Once you have found a useful source of information, particularly if it is just a single page on a website, it can be very handy to make a note of it so you don’t have to search for it the next time you want to use it. The ‘Bookmark’ or ‘Favorites’ (depending on your internet browser) menu options save website addresses so that you can quickly visit them again later.

When you are on the website you want to save, click on Favorites / Add to Favorites or Bookmarks / Bookmark this page.

Internet Explorer: Go to Favourites, then Add to Favourites

Firefox: Go to Bookmarks, then click Bookmark this page

To control what can become a very long list of bookmarks you can create folders to help you organise your favourite websites by topic.
