DLA Experiences
Are you the parent of a child with diabetes who has applied for Disability Living Allowance? If so Diabetes UK would like to hear from you.
We are looking at this area as we understand there is some discrepancy in the experiences of those applying, depending on their locality.
We would like to know if you needed help in completing the form and if so who assisted you? Were there certain sections of the form that you found unclear? Was your application successful? If not, what reasons were you given? Did you appeal and, if so, what was the outcome? Or anything else you think we should be aware of.
Any information you give us will be completely confidential but it would be very useful for us to know the area you live in, so we can see any patterns that emerge across the UK.
