Travelling with diabetes
Packing for your trip
Pack some extra snacks in case of delay with your journey
Make sure you have all your diabetes medication and equipment packed.
Remember to include any other medication you are taking too.
Make sure you have your money, credit cards and travellers cheques and all your documents with you - your passport, tickets, insurance details, and if you are carrying syringes and insulin on board your flight, the letter from your doctor.
Take a basic first aid kit to take with you especially if you are going off the beaten track.
Conceal any valuables such as jewellery - don't be an easy target for thieves or muggers.
