Packing for your trip

Packing for your trip

  • Pack some extra snacks in case of delay with your journey
  • Make sure you have all your diabetes medication and equipment packed.
  • Remember to include any other medication you are taking too.
  • Make sure you have your money, credit cards and travellers cheques and all your documents with you – your passport, tickets, insurance details, and if you are carrying syringes and insulin on board your flight, the letter from your doctor.
  • Take a basic first aid kit to take with you especially if you are going off the beaten track.
  • Conceal any valuables such as jewellery – don't be an easy target for thieves or muggers.
