"Sorry to hear that your injections are hurting - injections can be a pain when you start doing them. Hopefully, they should get less painful as you get more experienced at doing them, and so are more confident and relaxed, but it might be a good idea to speak to your nurse and show them the way that you do your injections - they may be able to suggest a slightly different way of doing it that hurts you less. We have some good injecting tips on our Teens' site here that might be able to help.
As for Easter and Easter eggs, you can still enjoy some chocolate the same as everyone else - the trick is not to have too much! The recommended amounts for eating chocolate are the same for everyone, whether they have diabetes or not - so try and keep it for special treats rather than eating it to satisfy your hunger.
