Nadeem is going to the diabetes clinic in his local hospital. Do you know why? Let’s go along with him to find out.
I come here about three or four times a year. When I first had diabetes though, I came more often.
There is a team of people here to help me. They do some tests to make sure my diabetes is OK. They also talk to me, and my mum, about my diabetes and answer our questions about it.
My mum comes to the clinic with me, and sometimes my dad too, because I can’t always remember everything the doctor and nurse tell me. Mum also asks her own questions to make sure she knows everything about my diabetes.
Find out who's on your healthcare team and what they do to help you with your diabetes.
