I still have my chocolates every day and I have many friends and family who support me and my chemist gives me so much advice on how to control my blood sugars.
In the beginning when I first found out I was diabetic I got so scared because I didn't know much about it then so I thought it was a very serious thing. But even before that, my doctor thought I had become anorexic which scared the hell out of me! I thought I would die if I became anorexic.
Nowadays, my mum keeps telling me to stop eating so much sugary foods because of my high blood sugars and although I am very worried about my eyesight becoming blind due to my blood sugars, I'm still having a great life while I can and I will try to make the most of my diabetic life.
This picture was when I was around 14 years old and now I'm nearly 16. I was diagnosed when I was 13 years old, 2007.
