You are entitled to healthcare from a range of experts, who will all help you to understand and manage your diabetes.
Your healthcare team will cover everything from general to highly specialised medical advice, and will be based in more than one place - usually your GP's surgery as well as a specialist diabetes clinic.
Plus - remember, you are a key part of your own healthcare team, so don't be afraid to take responsibility and ask questions to get the best out of your care.
