Forthcoming events
Expert Patients Programme (EPP) courses are FREE and help people to improve their health and wellbeing by learning new skills to manage their condition on a daily basis. People who have already attended courses have told us it has helped them to deal with their pain, tiredness, feelings of depression, frustration and other difficulties that may come from living with a long-term condition.

Please note change of location
Following the success of the first two events in May 2011 and 2012, King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Trusts and Diabetes UK have organised a third patient information day to discuss the understanding and treatment of potential complications with the foot and lower limb.
There will be participation from a wide range of healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of lower limb complications associated with diabetes. Modern up-to-date treatments will be looked at through presentations, open discussions and workshops. We aim to improve patients' knowledge and understanding of these potential complications to educate them in how to avoid or at least mimimise them, and to make sure that they have the confidence to cope with any issues should they arise.
