'I have helped a children's hospital by raising £15.4 million.'

My name is Cameron and I am 10-years-old. When I was just one-year-old I was diagnosed with a rare blood illness called Evans Syndrome where I needed multiple blood and platelet transfusions.
Over the next few years I have endured harsh immunosuppressive treatments including, chemotherapy, immunoglobins and steroids.
My first bout of diabetes was steroid induced and lasted seven months, but three years ago it returned and I am now on insulin four times daily. I have raised nearly £80,000 for my hospital at Pendlebury and other charities.
Over the last two years I have helped the New Childrens Hospital Appeal, raising £15.4 million.
I recently won a prestigous award at the Celebration of Young People's Awards. I just want to tell other children that life goes on when you have diabetes and you can achieve great things with your life.
Cameron will appear this Chrismas on Sky One's 'Noel's Christmas presents'.
