Diabetes UK is pleased to offer a series of five full-day Royal College of Nursing accredited diabetes awareness training courses for healthcare professionals in various locations in the UK.
This one-day course which covers both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes will provide you with the knowledge and confidence you need when working with people with diabetes. The course will cover the following topics:
- What is diabetes?
- Food and diabetes
- Treatment
- Monitoring
- The impact a diagnosis of diabetes can have
The cost of the course per delegate is £130 including VAT. Lunch, tea and coffee are included in this price.
Nurses attending the course will receive a RCN Certificate in addition to a Diabetes UK Certificate.
