Mr Rowe called Diabetes UK Insurance Services for travel insurance, after seeing our advertisement in balance magazine.
He used to work in the financial services industry and had arrangements in place for some time with other benefits. However, when his health changed, so did the situation with his insurance. ‘The company I used to work for could no longer provide cover and when I tried another provider they offered a quotation, but were so unprofessional I wasn’t happy about purchasing with them.’
It was at this point that Mr Rowe gave us a call – ‘Your team helped me a great deal, and the young lady I spoke to was extremely professional in her attitude and manner, so I was happy to buy.
As I am travelling to the USA and declaring medical conditions, I would expect the price to have to take this into account…but it turned out to be slightly cheaper than the other quote I’d had anyway!’
