What sort of membership do I need?
There are two main categories of membership; lay membership, for people with diabetes, their friends and families and professional membership for healthcare professionals and research scientists working in diabetes.
Lay membership offers full rate adult membership, child membership for children and young people under 18 years of age, reduced rate membership for those on state benefit, pension or full time education and Life membership.
Child members receive their first year of membership free. To receive child membership a date of birth must be provided.
Professional membership is offered at a single rate of £35. You can add the reduced rate subscription to Diabetic Medicine for a further £55 (a total of £90).
