Welcome to the Diabetes UK Peer Support network
This service is a confidential Peer Support network operating online and by telephone. The network does not offer face-to-face Peer Support but the volunteers can offer information on other opportunities to meet people living with diabetes.
When using the service the volunteer will invite you to leave your contact details so you can give us feedback to improve the service, and we can give you more support to live with diabetes. This is really important as it helps us to improve both this network and other Diabetes UK services. This feedback is anonymous and goes to a confidential moderator, not to the volunteer.
It’s a safe and secure network and all information will be kept private and confidential within the scheme.
This service is regularly supervised and we have a team of people who can support the volunteers or service users if there is any potential breach of our House Rules. We will always endeavour to act as quickly as possible to enforce these rules.
