Training and events
Diabetes UK Eastern volunteers
To help you get more out of your volunteering, Diabetes UK has put together a training and events programme for volunteers across the UK. Whether you are a local campaigner or a user rep, a fundraiser or involved in running a voluntary group, or if you're new to volunteering, there's something here for you.

The programme builds on previous training and events, so if you've been to one of Diabetes UK's events or training sessions before, this programme offers an opportunity to learn more. All events will also be suitable for people who are new to volunteering or who have never been to a Diabetes UK training event before.
All events give the chance for networking and learning from each other, as well as sharing experiences of making a difference to people with diabetes through volunteering. You are welcome to attend any of the events in the country, not just those held in your region.
We look forward to seeing you - our 2008 training and events programme will be published here soon.
