Diabetes UK works closely with Nova International, the organisers of the BUPA Great North, Manchester and South Runs, to name a few. Recently launched, the Great Activity Revolution, is a national activity campaign aiming to get over 2 million people a year active and engaged in mass participation sporting events by 2012.
Diabetes UK have signed up to this campaign as regular exercise is beneficial to the prevention and management of Diabetes and its related complications.
