Measure Up Roadshow
Diabetes UK launched its biggest ever Roadshow campaign in 2009 visiting over 100 locations across the UK. In Northern Ireland the team visited a total of 10 areas over the year.
The Roadshow supports our highly successful Measure Up campaign which aims to raise awareness of diabetes particularly highlighting the link between the risk of Type 2 diabetes and a person’s waist measurement.
The brand new vehicles hit the road in June offering free information and support. Free Type 2 diabetes risk assessments were also available at most of the locations.
