Volunteering

Diabetes UK Northern & Yorkshire

Help make a difference to the lives of 3.7million people living with diabetes.

Our 10,000+ volunteers are at the heart of Diabetes UK. Without this support, Diabetes UK could not carry out its vital work in research, education and care.

Our volunteers bring skills, experience, energy, enthusiasm and commitment to Diabetes UK. And volunteering can make a difference in your life too, letting you meet new people, learn new skills and have fun.

Volunteering Conference 2012

Volunteering is very much at the heart of all that we do at Diabetes UK. This year we are recognising our volunteers' efforts and celebrating their achievements by putting on local events where our volunteering takes place.

In 2012 the Northern & Yorkshire office held their volunteering conference on October 6th in York.  More information on the conference can be found here.
