Learn about managing diabetes
Our Family network days are for families of children with diabetes and give a chance to learn more about living with the condition.
Taking part in one of our Living with diabetes days will help people to achieve better control of their diabetes through self management.
We also provide details of structured education courses where they are provided by other organisations.

Please note change of location
Following the success of the first two events in May 2011 and 2012, King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Trusts and Diabetes UK have organised a third patient information day to discuss the understanding and treatment of potential complications with the foot and lower limb.
There will be participation from a wide range of healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of lower limb complications associated with diabetes. Modern up-to-date treatments will be looked at through presentations, open discussions and workshops. We aim to improve patients' knowledge and understanding of these potential complications to educate them in how to avoid or at least mimimise them, and to make sure that they have the confidence to cope with any issues should they arise.
