Our Family network days are for families of children with diabetes and give a chance to learn more about living with the condition.
Taking part in one of our Living with diabetes days will help people to achieve better control of their diabetes through self management.
We also provide details of structured education courses where they are provided by other organisations.

DESMOND is in BANES! [NHS Bath and North East Somerset]
Who is he - you may well ask!
DESMOND stands for Diabetes Education and Self Management for Ongoing and Newly Diagnosed
It’s a way of finding out more about Type 2 diabetes.
The free, one day sessions are held in various venues around the BANES area. There are two sessions a month. The programme is led by two Health professionals trained to ensure you are provided with honest up-to-date information about the causes, effects and options in managing your diabetes.
The day is informal and friendly, a day for you to ask questions, share experiences, thoughts and opinions. By the end of the day you will be in control and making decisions about your diabetes! Come and join us!
